Myfanwy's Story

Phew. I just spent the last few hours tweaking my new journal layout. Oh, and shiny new default icon to match which I'm using at the moment :D It was my 'Home' icon for 50_icons. I also went and changed some of my icons out with newer ones. My icon list isn't as heavy on David Tennant as it was. I added a few Chris Eccleston, Catherine Tate, Billie Piper and John Barrowman :D I'll add more Martha later on when I get more into iconing series 3.

Torchwood series 2 came in at the library. I've watched the first three episodes so far. I'm enjoying it just as much as Series 1. If only Sci Fi would play the new ones :( Or, you know, the people around here to get on the ball and work with me towards driving and being able to get a job. 'cause then I'd pay for BBC America.

I downloaded the latest version of GIMP yesterday. It's quite different than the last version. Everything's been moved, lol. Plus, I found some pretty cool new features, so YAY!

So, about once a month, I go and place holds on things- Movies I want to see, CSI seasons, Doctor Who seasons, etc. It dawns on me today that I should do a John Barrowman search and see if they have other CDs from him.

Now, my library's a member of a local group of libraries. Most of the libraries in my county, and many others around us, including Cleveland Public Library are a part of this system.

What's the newest item they have? Torchwood season 2. Not only that, but my local branch bought it!!! That means, even though I'm listed as 43 in line for it, as soon as it comes in, I get it next :D And once the high demand for it fades off, it'll be sitting there with the rest of the DVDs at my library!

I love my library!!
